How is the ICHO different from the other Curly Registries?
ICHO is the leader in the industry for complete scientifically based educational information about Curly Horses. Research and education are the hallmark of ICHO. Along with its ground breaking Curly Horse Research Council, ICHO also offers several optional Associations. Associations are varied in their goals. The goals may be breed genesis, or performance, type or bloodline preservation, or activity centered. In the various Associations, Curlies of Sporthorse, Stockhorse, Gaited, Draft, Pony, or other specific types may be inspected and approved for helping to develop predictable lines of top quality Curlies in these various disciplines. ICAMS International Curly Approved Mares & Studs Book is now the industry leader in Curly Horse quality assessment and improvement programs. ICHO also works with other related groups, like the Curly Horse Rescue, Inc., a Fiber Guild for the spinners and weavers of Curly Horse hair, and many possible others in the future.
