• Choose PFD enabled in the configuration option • Set the Prescaler (PSC2~PSC0=n) value and TMR initial value from the formula fPFD = (fSYS / (2nx(256-TMR)x2)) • Start the Timer by setting the TON bit in the TMRC • Set PA bit 3 in Output Mode, i.e.PAC.3=0 After these steps are taken, set PA.3=1 to turn on the PFD and PA.3=1 to turn off the PFD.
