How is the horse meat shipped to Europe and Asia?
Most of the meat from Canadian killers is shipped by air. Would you fly on an airplane with horse meat inches beneath your seat? We know which airlines are hauling it. Last year over 5,000 live horses were shipped to Japan to be killed there. We believe that much of the meat of horses slaughtered in Mexico is shipped to Europe and the Middle East, some to South Africa.
