How is the HeatManager fuel economizer different from an outdoor reset control?

0

HeatManager incorporates the same principles as outdoor reset (i.e. adjusting boiler water temperature to match system heat load), but it does so more effectively. By measuring heat load directly at the boiler supply pipe, HeatManager gives the whole story, whereas outdoor reset controls cant account for factors like wind and solar effects, insulation levels, window orientation, home occupancy, etc. HeatManager is also easier to install than an outdoor reset control. HeatManager requires no programming or setup at installation, and it does not need an outdoor temperature sensor.
