How is the health care coverage enforced?
Where a child support order directs that a non-custodial parent is to provide health insurance coverage for their children, DCSE will issue a National Medical Support Notice to the employer directing that the employer obtain the necessary health insurance on behalf of the non-custodial parent’s child(ren). It is sent along with an income withholding order.
