E-Jamaica Tax Portal is the latest of the far-reaching reforms that have been taken to modernize public sector services. A key objective of this reform is to improve public services by making them more accessible through use of ICTs. These include electronic payment of taxes, fees and the conduct of other business with the government. Interestingly, since the implementation of an online tax pilot, we have seen an increase in the collection of taxes. eLandjamaica is another online service that allows anyone, anywhere in the world to have access to land titles, deposited plans, property sales data and related information.
