The Discussion Guide will be broadly shared with Aboriginal organizations, institutions and other groups with an interest in Aboriginal economic development. The federal government will also take advantage of existing networks and fora focused on Aboriginal economic development to ensure input from a broad range of Aboriginal groups, regions and other stakeholders. A small number of engagement sessions with economic experts and practitioners will also be organized. The National Aboriginal Economic Development Board is also involved through an advisory capacity in the process. It is mandated by federal Cabinet and members are appointed by Order in Council to advise the federal government on any matters relating to Aboriginal economic development.
