I can perform the operation laparoscopically in most cases. This means small cuts are placed on the belly. They are about the size of a dime or nickel. General anesthesia is needed for your comfort and safety. Most patients stay in the hospital overnight. Some stay 2 nights and some have left the hospital the same day of their surgery.
