A28 – The First Nation Student Success Program is an opt-in program available to all First Nation communities who meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants do not compete against one another in this process. On the contrary, each proposal is judged independently and on its own merits. FNSSP does not employ a regional/per capita based model to determine funding. Rather, funding levels are determined by the strength, feasibility and cost effectiveness of the approved submissions.
