How is the Fund administrated? Who makes the decisions?
TCCF is very fortunate to have as its directors, professionals in all areas of expertise. For example, our Treasurer is a CCRA auditor, our President is a highly respected businessman, our Public Relations Officer is a journalist and yes, the man in charge of our bank account is a Bank Manager! Our Vice President is our liaison officer with our hospital partners, and brings new cases to the attention of the Board. Because of the ease with which we work with each other, it is often not even necessary to convene a special meeting to determine whether we should accept a case or not. All it can take are a series of telephone calls to get the necessary approval. The Board meets frequently to ensure that all regulations and other administrative requirements are met and to plan upcoming events. Regular audits of our finances are conducted, and these are open to public scrutiny.
