How is the Ford ESP better than other extended service plans I have seen?
There are many aftermarket companies that sell extended service plans, However, a Ford ESP is the only extended service plan honored by every Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealership in the U.S. and Canada. A Ford ESP is also the only extended service plan backed by Ford Motor Company. With a Ford ESP you only pay your deductible at the time of the repair—you do not have to pay for the repair first and then wait for reimbursement, which is what many aftermarket companies require. Many independent (non-Ford) plans appear to be similar to Ford ESP, but in reality are quite different.
