How is the food packaged?
The Dinner Studio will provide the aluminum pans needed to bake or broil your entrees. Zip-Loc Bags will be provided for recipes that will later be cooked as barbecues, in your crock-pot, or on the stovetop. After assembling your entree and choosing the appropriate container, you will then cover it, (or “zip” it), label it with easy-to-follow cooking directions and place it in your cooler or box to be taken home and cooked or frozen for cooking later.

In an effort to increase quality and flexibility for you, each meal is vacuum packaged with commercial equipment. This not only protects the food much better than a simple tray and lid, but it also enhances the flavor of your meals by accelerating the process of marinades and spices permeating the food. In addition, vacuum sealing extends the shelf life of your meals in a refrigerated environment, which means that you don’t have to rush home and put all of your meals in your freezer. Instead, pick the meals that you intend to eat over the next week, and put them in the refrigerator. This eliminates the need to defrost these meals, giving you more flexibility when you forgot to think about your dinner plans until mid-afternoon. Also, the trays that we use for meals like our Lasagna al Forno are dual-ovenable, meaning that you can put them into both a microwave oven and a conventional oven.
