How is the fishing in the Pacific / Caribbean / Lake Arenal?
The fishing on the Pacific coast is absolutely awesome for Bill fish and other offshore Pelagic species. If it is Roosterfish and other inshore species you seek, it’s hard to beat the fishing around the cliffs, islands and beaches in the Central Pacific coast. The Caribbean side offers a wide variety of fish inshore and offshore, but Tarpon are plentiful and in big sizes near shore. The opportunity to fish in areas offshore where no one has ever fished before and for different species of Snapper, big Grouper and Amberjack, aside from all of the other species, is incredible. The Arenal area offers the best of freshwater fishing for Blue Guapote and this is one of everyone’s favorite tours due to the beautiful region of La Fortuna.
