How is the Fellows placement determined?
Candidates do not need to identify a host institution prior to being selected as a Fellow. Once ACE Fellows are selected, they identify institutions with the assistance of their nominator and ACE Fellows Program staff. They interview at several institutions to secure the best possible placement. These interviews enable host institutions to meet the Fellows and to discuss the mentoring team arrangement, the types of projects and responsibilities in which the host institution would like the Fellow to be involved, and the kinds of experiences and opportunities that the Fellow seeks.
