How is the e-log installed on stick built or block construction making it a log home?

The e-log is a tongue & groove system. There are 2 different starter systems: • A full log starter uses a starter strip that is applied first to the wall. The e-log starter simply sits in the groove of the starter strip. • There is also a half-log starter. This uses an e-log basically cut in half and a cedar brick ledge is adhered to the bottom. This is also a very easy system to apply and the e-logs simply follow the T&G method over the rest of the wall. It is applied from the bottom of the log home up. It is very easy to apply with common building materials and skills. Nothing out of the ordinary is required.
