How is the does the timing for the race work?
Each stage of the race is timing separately and the four stages are added together at the end of the race to give your team its overall time. We will be using a manual timing system (i.e. no timing chip to worry about) that will able to give stage results within 10min of the final team in a given wave finishing a stage. We will also be using some of the social networking sites (Facebook and Twitter) to post results online as soon as the results are complete so that teams can access them while on-course.
