The demographic data is broken out across census-block group areas. Lake County contains 121 census-block group areas. Users determine what size radius they want to view demographic data for in the Lake County Property Finder. Demographic data is calculated based on the census-block group areas that fall under the radius size the user enters. When displayed to the user, the map highlights what areas the demographic numbers are calculated from.
