How is the decision made to create an Overview?

As with other Cochrane initiatives, anyone may propose an Overview of Reviews on the topic of their choice. However, since one aim is to add structure to The Cochrane Library and make it easier for users to access relevant reviews, we encourage Cochrane Review Groups (CRGs), groupings of CRGs, Fields/Networks or Centres to set priority areas for Overviews of Reviews, and to attempt to identify authors to undertake them.
