How is the Datadesk key layout different from the other “split” keyboards I have seen?

The other “split” keyboards (like the Microsoft Natural Keyboard) just take the standard key layout and split it down the middle. The idea behind those keyboards is to position your wrists in a more natural position. However, all the other “split” keyboards totally ignore the other half of the typing solution – your fingers. All the other keyboards (1) don’t position the keys to match the movement of your fingers and (2) don’t have larger keys for your outside fingers. Although your wrists may be in a more natural position, the other “split” keyboards don’t make typing any easier.
