How is the cumulative university average calculated?
The cumulative university average is the average of all courses attempted at the university level, including failed and repeated courses, and does not include secondary school grades. For example, most students just completing second year would have an average calculated on 10 full-credit equivalents and most third year students would have an average calculated on 15 full-credit equivalents. For applicants who are in graduate programs graduate course grades are also included in the cumulative average. Refer to the Cumulative University Average section for further details.
