How is the culture tied in with the event?
On Thursday night (Oct. 21), we will feature Hawaiian entertainment followed by a traditional Hawaiian Blessing. This evening will conclude with a lecture given by Tom “Pohaku” Stone on the spiritual element of the Islands. There are also a number of cultural workshops offered throughout the Festival. We will also be donating a portion of the proceeds to Kanalu, a local organization dedicated to preserving and supporting the local culture and its native people.
