Women should always inform their doctor or x-ray technologist if there is any possibility that they may be pregnant. Staff will ask you to change into a gown. The technologist begins by positioning you on the CT table. If needed, you may be supported by pillows, especially under the knees, to place you in the proper position and to help you hold still during the scan.
