How is The Contra Network different from bartering associations?
The Contra Network uses the reciprocal relationship commonly known as bartering as an authentic tool for building business. This is unique to the wellbeing industry as wellbeing practioners do not always align well with conventional business strategies. In addition, it helps to purposefully support the wellbeing industry by expanding each memeber’s awareness of what services are available. Whilst wellbeing service providers get support to grow their business and get the opportunity to bring enhance their own wellbeing even more, business support service providers also get to enjoy all that the wellbeing industries have to offer and grow their own business at the same time. For the above resons and because The Contra Network does not intend to be a bartering community, but rather a business, skills and wellness development network, we operate under the philosophy that everyones time is of equal value.
