A crosswalk showing how current object codes will correspond to new object codes is available under the At Your Side Consulting section of the Tools and Resources page. Because accounts are more dynamic, a crosswalk would become outdated very quickly. We can provide the logic by which account numbers will change. All legacy (A17) accounts will be mapped to one account in the new system. Below is the formula for transforming legacy accounts to new accounts: Legacy Account Number = 31-8250 (example only – not real data) New Account Number = GX038250 The structure breaks down as follows: Fund: G Sub-fund: X Placeholder: 0 (not really a value) Legacy Number: 38250 (remove “-” and “1”) Account numbers generated after Go Live will be auto-generated.
