How is the BioPhotonic Scanner calibrated?

A. We are using a linear, three point calibration process. We have three “Calibration Caps” with No, Low, and High readings. The materials being used are thin-films that are fitted into these caps. The caps fit over the laser aperture. The films being used have different levels of an embedded “carotenoid-like” molecule. We are not giving out any further detains regarding this film (trade secret). By performing this calibration, we can bring the instruments that are out in the field, in-line with the laboratory unit.
