How is the Bible taught at High Peaks Bible Fellowship?
Our primary teaching format is the expository, verse-by-verse explanation of the Word of God. This method follows the biblical pattern of reading the Word, explaining the meaning, and applying its principles to our lives today (Neh 8:8; Col 4:16; 1 Thess 5:27; Rev 1:3). Using this method over time, the entire counsel of God is taught in the context in which it was originally given (Acts 20:27). Doctrinal or topical messages will periodically be taught, but the mainstay of Bible teaching is the expository approach.
