How is the best way to seal around the new windows, exapnding foram or fiberlgass stuffed in?
thanks for you help Steve ANSWER: Hi Steve, Welcome, you’ve asked questions that hit right in my favorite topic. Doors & windows are my favorite discussion item. If you would have asked me these questions two years ago, I would have been extremely favorable to the Schco window. Over the last year I’ve found out they aren’t the stand up business I thought they were. The German based window manufacturer has sold off all their plants across the world to outside investors. They were having so many problems here in the US that they sold off their last plant this past year. They have some bad designs in their product. There are a lot of angry customers with bad window units or broken parts. I’d steer clear of Schco for awhile. It’s going to take the new owners some time to clear the air. Argon and Krypton are both inert gasses, as are helium, neon, xenon, and radon. Helium is lighter than air while the rest of the inert gasses are heavier than air. Dry air has a density of 1.29 g/cm^3 at sea
