How is the best way to hang a hammock?
The best way to hang a hammock is with hammock thimbles and “S” hooks, with a length of strong rope. Rock-climbing hardware also works very well. Suspend the hammock with two equal lengths of rope so it hangs with each end at the same height allowing it to sag a bit in the middle (but not touch the ground when occupied). It is best to attach a rope to each end of the hammock, between the hammock and the hardware, to avoid putting wear on the hammock as it swings.
