How is the behavior chart used?
Behavior charts are used so we can communicate about how your child behaves in school. Students are given stickers, stamps and stars in the areas that they demonstrate exceptional behavior. However, a behavior chart does not need to be filled with stickers for a student to have demonstarted good behavior. Some weeks, a student may only have a few stickers on their chart. As long as you do not see an X in an area, your child demonstrated good behavior in that area! Be sure to praise your child for their good behavior and discuss any Xs you see. Sign the chart and return it to school on Thursdays in your child’s weekly folder.
