How is the BASIC Language tokenized in the FlashTRAX Controller?
As each line of application code is writtten or uploaded, the tokenizer converts each command to a 1-byte token. At execution time, invoked by RUN or AutoRun, the location and properties of each command are known. No parsing is required – and speed of execution is significantly increased. More system memory is available for application code.
