How Is The Auditor-General Of Pakistan Appointed And Removed And What Are His Functions And Powers?
The Auditor-General is appointed by the President. Before entering upon office the Auditor-General shall make before the Chief Justice of Pakistan oath in the form set out line the third schedule. His terms and conditions of service, including the term of office is determined by act person who has held office as Auditor-General shall not be eligible for further appointment in the service of Pakistan before the expiration of two years after he has ceased to hold that office. He can be removed only in case of physical or mental incapacity or gross misconduct and not otherwise.
