How is the application partitioned both logically and physically?
Clinical Data Management software is not partitioned logically or physically. The software can be installed anywhere (e.g., PC, Laptop, server, etc.). If our software is installed on a server with multiple users, a multi-user LanPack and a network server product (NLM or NT Service) would be required. In a server-based installation, only the batch file to run the software would be located on the workstation. In addition, the NLM or NT Service would allow the majority of the processing to be handled by the server. Is this a true client/server application? If yes, describe how this is validated i.e. KeyLabs (http://www.keylabs.com/network.htm) or Novell SuperLabs (http://developer.novell.com/devres/slab) testing. Our products are not client/server per se. They are stand-alone products that can be used on a network. They are also all multi-user.
