How is the adaptive dimension different from mainstreaming or integration?
The adaptive dimension has two key differences. The classroom teacher is the primary teachers responsible for the student; the resource room teacher(s) have an important role in assisting the classroom teacher with planning and implementing the adaptations but do not generally take the role of primary teacher.
