How is the AC J-Box Fused?

0

The power supply cable for the AC J-Box has a 50A fuse at the IPA that it shares along with the LCU. Though this fuse is rated at 50A, the AC J-Box is only allowed 25A to accommodate the LCU’s current draw as well. Inside the AC J-Box are two additional 20A fuses; one on the 120VAC Positive and one on the 120VAC Neutral legs. These are the only hard fuses in the unit. Each of the four 120VAC ports on the AC J-Box has a software fuse that will sense an over current condition and turn off the corresponding Seanet control module shutting down power to the port.
