How Is Testosterone Administered for Women?
For women, Testosterone is administered as a skin cream or gel, applied to the specific areas of the body where absorption has been shown to be best (anterior neck, inside of upper arms, crease behind the knee or opposite the elbow). Each dose must be measured and blood levels must be evaluated regularly to assure they are in the appropriate normal range.
