How is Swedish snus packaged?
Swedish snus comes by the can or by the roll (10 cans). The snus itself comes in three basic configurations: It comes as loose which is just snus. You really need a special tool to shape it and if you laugh, pieces can come shooting out of your mouth. I don’t buy loose snus. But if you’re a fan of loose chewing tobacco, you might want to give it a shot. It comes in portion packs. This is snus in a tea bag like packet. There are three sizes: mini (don’t bother), regular (1 gram…this is the size I get), and maxi (2 gram…depending on your face, these may make a visible bulge over your upper lip). It comes in white portion packs. The packet used is different than the tea bag like one used in portion packs. The difference between portion and white portion is that it will take longer for the snus taste to become apparent in white portion, but it will last longer than portion snus.
