HOW IS SUNOUT INSTALLED?
This is the easiest part. SUNOUT applies to slick surfaces, such as glass, because of the static charge that is inherent to the shiny side of the film. This means that once the glass has been cleaned and is dry, SUNOUT can be placed shiny side to the glass and lightly brushed into place with the palm of the hand. We recommend installations on large pieces of glass begin by trimming the top edge of the film and the left side square with the window frame. Beginning installation in the upper left hand corner, smooth the film from the center to the corners. When totally in place, it can be trimmed with a razor blade or handy cutter using a straight edge or our finishing tool as a guide. You can spray the surface with water to which a drop of baby shampoo or two has been added and apply wet if you choose to, but it is not necessary.
