How is student membership verification documented?
For classes meeting physically with the instructor, student signatures must be collected on either the class verification record or lab card, whichever is applicable based on the class type. This documentation is required of all Corporate and Continuing Education and Basic Skills classes. The class verification records must be maintained in each division’s State class folders for annual education program FTE auditing purposes. For classes not physically meeting (internet classes), membership verification can consist of payment of the applicable registration fee by the student for the class. In cases where no fee is paid for internet classes, an electronic certification by the student is required for membership verification.
