How is SSA more secure than only a “User ID” and “Password”?
SSA adds three security elements to the existing User ID/Password login process. It first, attempts to “recognize” your computer hardware. If it doesn’t, it requires that you answer a challenge question only you should be able to answer correctly. Once SSA is confident that it is indeed you logging in, it assures you that you are logging into an authentic Sovereign Bank service by presenting a Personal Security Image and Phrase you selected during registration.
