In the SPECjEnterprise2010 benchmark, the load drivers access the application through a web layer (for the dealer domain) and through EJBs and Web Services (for the manufacturing domain) to stress more of the capabilities of the Java EE application servers. In addition, SPECjEnterprise2010 adds more extensive use of the JMS and MDB infrastructure.
