How is security maintained through the Action Request System?
The Action Request System allows member organization administrators to request an action to be performed by Gene Logic personnel, such as send out sample collection kits to donors or send biological samples to authorized investigators. The Action Request System provides Web-based secure access to the application for new patient registration and is administered by the member organization´s designated representative. Each organization controls the distribution of access IDs and is responsible for authorizing the release of any samples to researchers by Gene Logic. The Action Request System has secure activity logging and provides summary reporting for all distribution activities (collection kits and samples) as well as for billable events, inventories, and accounting.
