how is SeaWorld San Antonio on Wednesday announced a new Fun Card ticket?
SeaWorld San Antonio on Wednesday announced a new Fun Card ticket program that gives guests an entire year of visits for the price of a single-day admission ticket. The amusement and water park also introduced three new shows for the 2009 season and donated the first 1,000 Fun Cards to the Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio. Dan Decker, executive vice president and general manager of the park, says the new ticket prices are not in response to the economic crisis gripping the nation. “San Antonio has not been as affected by the economy as the rest of the state and the country,” Decker says. He adds that SeaWorld San Antonio had three consecutive record years in sales. SeaWorld San Antonio planned the new changes more than a year ago based on the performance of other Anheuser Busch parks throughout the country that adopted the ticketing program, says Fran Stephenson, director of communications at SeaWorld San Antonio.
