How is Science taught at the middle school level?
o The Springfield Public Schools middle school curriculum is taught incorporating a variety of teaching modes. These Modes of Instruction include the following: Science Inquiry (laboratory investigation & data collection and analysis), Teacher Directed Instruction: (lecture), Cooperative Group Work, Teacher Science Demonstration, Testing or Assessment, Independent Science Work, Labs, Project-based Learning, Activities, Computer Technology Integration, and Learning Centers.
