How is Reiki Done?
To access the Reiki energy, the practitioner lays her/his hands on specific areas of the body (the head, torso and back) in a precise pattern which transfers the healing Reiki energy to the recipient. Each hand position lasts for 3-5 minutes, with special attention given to those areas of the body where energy may be depleted. The client is fully clothed throughout the one-hour session.
