How is refuse and recycling collection organised at present in East Devon?
• We have one contractor, SITA, who collect both refuse and recycling. • We collect refuse weekly from every home in East Devon. • We collect recyclable materials fortnightly from every home in East Devon. • Too much of our household waste goes to landfill. • We are not meeting some of the UK and EU targets. • We need to improve the service we provide. • We have created a Waste Strategy .
