Pulsed light systems and lasers are very similar. The Pulsed Light System uses a newer technology that allows it to remove hair up to 10 times faster than lasers. Pulsed-light systems work by emitting pulses of intense lamplight into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and converted to heat. The heat then loosens the hair and disables the follicular cells responsible for growing new hair.
