How is private school socially better than public.?
Private schools are in a position to hand-pick their students, which public schools are not. Therefore, because private schools can legally–and automatically–eliminate from consideration students who otherwise are liable to contaminate the environment, they are (theoretically, at least) able to create a more positive social environment. [By the way, I thought I might mention, in regard to some previous answers, that there’s a big difference between parochial schools and “private” schools, especially if the latter are “Independent” (i.e. not affiliated with any church or religion). Unlike parochial schools, most private schools today do not require uniforms.
