How is pricing determined in Marketplace?
Suppliers provide the pricing listed on Marketplace. Some suppliers offer list pricing, while others offer university favorable pricing. The icons next to a supplier’s name can assist you in determining which suppliers have negotiated contracts and other information. Click the Browse Active Suppliers link on the Marketplace home page to see a complete list of active suppliers and their associated icons. Icon definitions are: • Agreement Supplier or Internal Partner: Suppliers with an Agreement icon have agreed to the University’s terms and conditions and have provided favorable pricing. You can buy from these suppliers for up to $10,000 without additional Professional Buyer review and approval. • Easy Buy: The Easy Buy icon has been awarded to Agreement Suppliers through a competitive bid process. This means that you can purchase these items up to any amount without submitting additional justification documents to Procurement & Contracts. These items are considered a best value purchas
