Power is the force put into a movement – it is important in javelin to actually put momentum into the javelin and therefore throw it a long distance. Muscular Endurance is important mainly for the training of the javelin as it’s important when constantly using the arm muscles to repeatedly throw the javelin. Reaction time is important for throwing the javelin to ensure that when the body is in the right postition the javelin is thrown quickly without delay. If it isn’t thrown at the correct time, the technique can be lost and therefore, it might not be thrown as far.
