How is poverty a hindrance on both demand and supply side?
It depends on the policies of the governments and United Nations what kind of assistance they want to provide to poverty stricken people at home and abroad. Often the aid and loans to poor people or nations are given out of state funds to help the industries and agriculture sector to dispose off their excess production and to create demands for the supplies already in pipeline. Poverty is an economic condition in which people lack sufficient income to obtain the minimal levels of health care, food, housing, clothing, and education generally recognized as necessary to ensure an adequate standard of living. Further, accessibility to clean water, means of transport and communications etc. make the difference between destitute and poor besides the quality of food. Shelter and clothing.
